Hi there! My name is Liam and I'm a data analyst. I have always been good at problem-solving and critical thinking, and I have recently decided to shift my career towards the technical field of data analytics. I have been studying and preparing for this transition, and have acquired skills in SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and Tableau, as well as data cleaning and visualisation techniques.
As I reflect on my past experiences, I realize that data analytics has been a part of my work for my entire career, I just didn't know it. In 2017, I started my own business and built it up from scratch with a team of individuals who shared my passion for innovation and creativity. Data played a critical role in our business, as we collected, processed, and visualised our data to help esports teams improve their performance. We also worked closely with their team analysts to identify patterns and methods. I enjoyed every aspect of this work, from tracking social media engagement to monitoring staff performance and financial KPIs.
For the past few years, I have been working in administration, but I see data analytics as the next logical step in my career. I am excited to use my skills and experience to contribute to my next employer's success.
